Using a video as a moving background
Video Live Wallpapers takes a video clip and plays it behind your home screen icons. The listing says a favorite clip can be used this way and that all types of videos work.
The result is a background that moves while the phone is in use, so the home screen itself becomes the animated element.
Fitting and sound settings for video wallpapers
A fit-to-screen option sizes the clip to the display. This controls how the video sits behind the icons once it is set.
Audio can be turned on or off. With audio off, the clip plays silently as the background.
Online video, parallax and 3D effects
The app supports online video wallpapers, so a clip does not have to be stored on the device to be used as a background.
The listing also names parallax wallpaper support, along with 3D and 4D wallpaper support.
Resolution and battery use claims
4K wallpapers are listed as supported, so higher resolution clips can be used as the background.
The developer's own description says the app uses minimal system resources and battery.
