Vivo Browser

What Vivo Browser is for

Vivo Browser is a web browser published by PT vivo mobile Indonesia and listed as the official browser for Vivo phones. It is aimed at people who use their phone for general web browsing, and who also want news, short videos and sports scores without leaving the browser.

The listing says some of its features may not work on phones from other brands.

Ad blocking and private browsing

The ad blocker is described as stopping pop-ups, banner ads and other kinds of ads while you browse. Incognito mode, which the listing calls private browsing, is available for sessions you do not want saved to the browser. A night mode is also included, for use in low light.

Downloading videos, songs and files

The browser can download videos, songs and other files directly from web pages. The listing advertises these downloads as fast, but it does not say which file types are supported or where downloads are saved.

News, trending videos and cricket scores

A built-in news feed shows top and trending stories, and a video section lets you watch trending and funny clips without opening a separate app. Live scores for important cricket matches appear as notifications, so you can follow a match without keeping the browser open.

Home screen shortcuts for websites

You can add shortcuts for popular websites to your home screen and open any of them with one tap. The shortcuts are meant for sites you visit often, so you skip typing the address each time.
