What Vzy is and who it suits

Vzy is a catalogue and discovery app that sits on top of other streaming services. According to the listing, it covers movies, web series, live sports and trending shows, plus 2000+ hours of free content and 400+ live TV channels. The developer says the catalogue spans languages, genres and moods.

It suits people who watch across more than one service and want one place to look for something to watch. The listing describes it as available on mobile, TV and laptop.

Searching across streaming apps by voice or partial title

A single search box covers titles across the platforms Vzy connects to, so a person does not have to check each app separately. The listing also describes voice search and predictive search, which suggests matches while you type or speak.

Predictive and voice search are aimed at the case where you remember part of a show's name but not the whole thing.

Recommendations and curated collections

The home screen is built around personal recommendations, which the developer says are meant to surface titles a viewer is likely to finish. Curated collections are grouped by mood or theme for people who have no particular title in mind.

Both sit on the same home screen, so the browsing starting point changes as the recommendations do.

One login, profiles and resuming on other devices

A single Vzy login is used across devices. Each person in a household can have a separate profile, so recommendations and history stay apart.

Playback can be picked up where it stopped on any device signed in to the same account, whether that is a phone, a TV or a laptop.

Live TV channels and live sports

The listing says 400+ live TV channels can be tuned into at any time, and that live sports are included in the catalogue alongside movies and shows. Live channels appear within the same app as on-demand titles rather than in a separate section.

The listing does not say which specific sports leagues or channels are included.
