What Wear OS & Phone Alarm is for

Wear OS & Phone Alarm keeps alarms on an Android phone and a Wear OS watch in one shared list. It is not a second clock beside the system one. Each alarm exists once, and edits made on either device appear on the other.

It suits people who wear a Wear OS watch with a phone and want the same alarms on both without setting them twice.

Choosing where each alarm rings

Each alarm can ring on the phone, on the watch, or on both. The choice is made per alarm, so a morning alarm might sound on the wrist while another sounds only on the phone.

Because the list is shared, a change to an alarm's time or settings on one device is passed to the other in both directions.

Stopping and snoozing across both devices

Tapping stop or snooze on the watch sends the same command to the phone, and the reverse works too. If the first signal is lost, the command is sent again.

The watch runs on its own, so its alarms still fire when the phone is charging in another room or out of Bluetooth range.

How the phone and watch stay in sync

After the first pairing, Wear OS carries the alarm list between the two devices over whatever connection is available: Bluetooth when nearby, Wi-Fi or mobile data when apart, or the watch's own eSIM connection if it has one. The developer says a new alarm or a stop can reach the other device from hundreds of kilometers away.

There is no server and no account. The link between the devices is the Wear OS pair itself.

Battery use on phone and watch

The developer gives battery figures of under 1% on the phone. On the watch, the figure is a few percent a day with five alarms set.
