What the Weather W5 watch face is

Weather W5 is a watch face for Wear OS smartwatches. The developer presents it as a return of the older W5 design, rebuilt on the Watch Face Format so it runs on current Wear OS devices. It is aimed at people who want the weather on their wrist without opening a separate app.

The developer describes the layout as digital and compact, with a technical look. Time, weather, activity, heart rate and battery all share the one screen.

Time, weather and health readings on the dial

The face shows the digital time together with current conditions and a forecast. Those are the weather elements the developer names as the core of the design.

Activity, heart rate and battery level sit on the same face. The listing does not say how these are measured or how they are laid out beyond the compact description, so the readings are as the watch provides them.

Weather data source and companion apps

The weather information comes from World Weather Online, which the listing names as the data provider.

The developer also says the companion apps have been refreshed. One is for Android phones and one runs on the watch itself under Wear OS, so setup and settings are handled through the phone side.

Premium access and how it is bought

Premium is the paid tier for Weather W5. The listing says existing Premium access is supported through Google Play, including both subscription and Lifetime purchases.

A subscription renews on its own schedule through Google Play. A Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that the listing describes as covering the app for good.
