What this weather app covers

Weather is a forecast app from OneLouder Apps that covers local conditions for a given place, with rain, wind, and air quality data in one view. It suits people who plan outdoor activity around the weather, or who have allergies or sensitivities that depend on pollen and pollution levels.

Forecasts run from minute-by-minute rain timing out to 10 days. Radar maps, air quality readings and a pollen outlook sit alongside the forecast, so the same app answers both whether to bring an umbrella and whether a day outside is a good idea for someone with allergies.

Forecasts for the next hours and days

The minute-by-minute view shows when precipitation is expected to start or stop, and a separate rain forecast covers the next 48 hours. For planning further out, the 10-day forecast gives a daily outlook.

These three views are meant to be read together. The short-range rain data is useful for the next few hours, and the 10-day outlook is useful for scheduling trips, events or outdoor work a few days ahead.

Radar maps for storms and precipitation

The radar section stacks several weather layers on one map. The listing names thunderstorms, typhoons, hurricanes, rainfall and snowfall as things you can track. It also includes future radar maps, which show where precipitation is projected to move.

Layers can be combined, so a person following a storm can watch rain and storm systems move on the same map rather than switching between separate screens.

Pollen, air quality and health advice

The Health Center covers the outdoor conditions that affect breathing and allergies. It gives a real-time air quality index for your area, plus an allergy outlook that tracks grass, weed and tree pollen.

Pollutant levels are listed individually for PM10, PM2.5, O3, CO, NO2 and SO2. The app also gives general health tips, with separate advice for sensitive groups. Wind chill and humidity readings also appear here, for deciding how long to stay outside.

Weather details, sun and moon times, and widgets

The detailed weather section covers more than 15 data points. The listing names UV index, dew point, visibility, humidity, wind speed and atmospheric pressure among them. A sun and moon tracker shows sun and moon times for the same location.

Customizable widgets provide a glance at current conditions without opening the full app. The listing counts more than 10 widget options.
