What the wedding planner covers

Wedding Planner by MyWed is an all-in-one planner for organizing a wedding. It covers the guest list, the task checklist, expenses and vendors in one place, and the developer says it is meant for planning with a future spouse and family as well as alone.

Most of the app is built around three things: who is coming and what they are eating, what has to get done and by when, and keeping the same data on every device you use.

Managing the guest list and RSVPs

You add guests and their companions to the list, then arrange them on a seating plan. The app also records meal selections and RSVPs for each event you set up, which the listing gives as examples of bachelorette party, bachelor party and the wedding itself.

Because RSVPs are kept per event, a guest invited to one celebration but not another can be tracked separately.

Working through the wedding checklist

The app generates a list of wedding tasks based on the date you enter. You can edit the list to fit your own celebration, and the app sends reminders as tasks come up.

Planning with a partner across devices

You can invite your partner to the same wedding plan so you both work from the same guest list, checklist and budget. The developer says all data syncs automatically, so the plan can be opened and changed from different devices.

Family can be brought into the plan the same way the partner is.

Tracking expenses and vendors

The app includes expense control and vendor management alongside the guest list and checklist. These are part of the same planner, so spending and vendor details sit with the rest of the wedding plan.
