What the WedMeGood wedding planner covers

WedMeGood is a wedding planning app aimed at couples in India who want one place for vendors, invitations, a to-do timeline and ideas. The listing says it is free to use.

Most of its tools sit in four areas: finding vendors, making invitations, keeping a checklist, and collecting inspiration. The vendor and invitation tools are the ones the listing describes in most detail.

Finding wedding venues and vendors near you

Vendor search covers 20 categories, including wedding photographers, bridal lehenga shops, makeup artists, mehndi artists and budget wedding planners. You filter results by your budget and style and by your city.

Each listing shows reviews and photos. You can shortlist vendors and contact them from the app. Queries can go to several vendors at once without sharing your own contact details.

Making e-invites and tracking the countdown

The invitation maker offers 100s of card templates for save-the-date cards, marriage invitation cards and video invites. You build them on your phone.

The checklist is laid out month by month, from month 12 down to month 1. You tick off tasks as you finish them, and a countdown sits alongside it. You can share the checklist with your partner and family so everyone works from the same list.

Browsing mehndi, lehenga and song ideas

The inspiration section holds over 2 million wedding photos. Mehndi designs number over 5000, covering traditional, minimalist and baraat styles, and you can save them to view offline. Lehenga photos can be filtered by colour and style.

Wedding song ideas cover sangeet songs for a bride's solo, entry songs and sangeet playlists. Search works on specific phrases, such as floral print lehenga or latest wedding invites. The app also lets you shop designer bridal lehengas and sarees online.

Sharing planning with a partner and family

The Wedding Wall lets you share photos, real wedding stories and vendors with the people you are planning with. Saved articles and planning tips can be kept for later.

The checklist can be ticked off jointly, so a partner or family member sees the same items you do.
