The Wendy's app is the chain's own app for people who already eat at its restaurants. It combines a Wendy's account, a rewards balance, app-only offers and delivery ordering in one place. The listing aims it mainly at regular customers who want to collect free food from visits they were making anyway.
Tapping the Earn button in the app at a restaurant counter or the drive-thru adds points to your account. The listing says those points can be redeemed for free food. Creating the account takes a few questions after you download the app.
App-only offers cover burgers, breakfast, bacon items and Frosty treats. Turning on Wendy's app notifications sends the latest offers and deals to your phone. The listing also promotes the breakfast menu, naming biscuits, burritos and cold brew.
The app includes delivery ordering, so you can place an order from wherever you are. Delivery is handled inside the app, next to the offers and rewards described above.
If you share your email address, Wendy's can send deals tied to your birthday or to days such as National Cheeseburger Day and Fryday. The listing presents these as a way to get offers without checking the app for them.
