What WEX CardControl is for
WEX CardControl is a mobile tool from WEX, Inc. for holders of EFS or Fleet One cards. The developer says it is built for drivers who need to handle their card while on the road.
Using it requires a current cardholder account, with an active card number and a password or PIN. The developer notes that some features depend on availability.
Checking balances and transaction history
The app shows real-time balances for your card. Each transaction in your history can be opened to see its details.
The listing also includes a function to register checks, though it does not say more about how that works.
Finding fuel prices and accepting stations
Fuel price and location search covers stations near your current position. It can also show stations along a route you plan to drive.
The developer describes this as one of the card-related features, so a driver can check prices and accepting locations in the same place they manage the card.
Generating ATM PINs and managing funds
The app can generate a dynamic PIN for ATM transactions, so a cash withdrawal does not depend on a fixed PIN. Funds can also be transferred from the card to external bank accounts.
SmartFunds, a fund management feature on these cards, can be managed from within the app. The listing says some of these functions are subject to availability.
