What kind of physics puzzle game this is

Where's My Water? 2 is the sequel to Disney's physics puzzler, published by Kongregate and rated 3+. You cut through dirt so that water, steam and purple water flow to Swampy and his friends. Google Play lists 100,000,000+ installs for the app.

The game is built around watching how liquids and gas move once you open a path, so each level is a small problem about routing material to a goal.

Levels, locations and characters

The game has more than 100 levels and challenges in the Gator universe, featuring Swampy, Allie, Cranky and Mystery Duck. Three new locations are included: the Sewer, the Soap Factory and the Beach.

Each character has its own mechanics, so the puzzles change depending on who you are playing as.

Replaying levels and collecting duckies

Challenge Modes replay existing levels with new rules. Duck Rush levels ask you to dig quickly and collect as many duckies as you can.

Completing achievements unlocks themed duckies such as gladiator, astronaut and hula. The listing says there are many more to collect.

Boosts, Tri-ducking and hints

Tri-ducking uses boosts called Vacuum, Dropper and Absorber to help you through harder layouts. The listing says the puzzles themselves are free, but small fees may be required for the boosts.

If you get stuck, hints are available on any level to point you toward a solution.
