This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Whoscall is a caller ID and spam blocker for Android, aimed at people who get calls from unknown numbers and suspicious texts. It brings together call identification, call blocking, a text message filter and a verification tool in one app.
The developer describes it as built around scam and spam protection, with the checks it runs supported by a community of users who report numbers and messages.
The build we hold is Whoscall: Caller ID & Block 8.42 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

When a call comes from a number you do not have saved, Whoscall is designed to show who is calling. The listing says scam calls are blocked automatically, so you do not have to reject each one by hand.
This is the part of the app most people would use every day, since it works on incoming calls without you opening it.
The Smart SMS Assistant is meant to catch phishing messages before they reach you. Phishing texts usually ask you to click a link or send details, and the listing presents this filter as the way to keep those messages from getting through.
The listing does not say how the filter decides what counts as phishing, so the description here stops at what it is meant to do.
The Check feature lets you verify a phone number, a web link or a screenshot in one place. It is useful when a message or call seems off and you want to look at it before you respond.
Because it accepts screenshots as well as numbers and links, you can check a suspicious message you received in another app without copying its text by hand.
The Mission Board lists small tasks, such as reporting a suspicious number or checking in, and gives you points for finishing them. Badges are awarded as you take part in protecting the community.
The developer says each action helps the shared network Whoscall relies on, so reporting and checking are both part of how the app's protection works for everyone using it.
