A solitaire puzzle game built around a story
Wordington Solitaire is a card puzzle game where the puzzles sit inside a story. You follow Emma, who is working to renovate her grandfather's old house and the garden around it.
The listing presents the game as a mix of puzzle play and narrative, with secrets, friendship and romance running through the plot. Progress in the story comes from finishing the puzzles.
Connecting cards to finish Solitaire Associations levels
Each level is a round of Solitaire Associations, where you complete the level by connecting cards. Finishing levels earns stars.
The stars are what drive the rest of the game, so each level you clear moves both the story and the renovation forward.
Renovating rooms and the garden
Stars unlock new rooms to renovate, both inside the house and in the garden. The listing says the aim is to bring the property back to its former condition.
Because the house is large and needs work throughout, the renovation gives you a steady list of new areas to restore as you progress.
Chapters, mysteries and the story between levels
Stars also open new chapters of the story. The listing describes hidden mysteries from Emma's past that come to light as the chapters advance.
According to the listing, new surprises appear behind each door as the house opens up, so the story keeps unfolding alongside the puzzles.
