World War Polygon is a first-person shooter set in the Second World War. Its main mode is a single-player campaign with story cutscenes, so it fits players who want a war story played from the ground.
You can play as an Allied soldier or as a Soviet soldier. Google Play lists the game at PEGI 16.
The build we hold is World War Polygon: WW2 shooter 2.39 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The Allied route starts with D-Day in Normandy, moves through the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes, and ends with the fall of Berlin in 1945 as part of the allied military force.
The Soviet route puts you in the role of a Red Army soldier at the Battle of Stalingrad, then fights across Eastern Europe on the Eastern Front.
Between standard shooting missions, the game adds tasks with different weapons and roles. You fire anti-aircraft guns at planes, hold a position with mortar fire, and destroy tanks or bunkers with a bazooka.
Sniper tasks let you engage enemies at long distances. The listing presents these as special tasks inside the campaign rather than separate modes.
Alongside the single-player campaign, the listing names multiplayer and zombie modes. The description gives no further detail on how either one plays.
