Xfinity Prepaid

What Xfinity Prepaid is for

Xfinity Prepaid is the account app for Comcast's prepaid Xfinity services. According to the listing, it covers Prepaid Internet and Prepaid Instant TV. It suits people who already hold one of those services and want to handle the account from a phone.

The app is built around the account itself. Once signed in, it shows the services on the account and gives access to the actions below.

Refilling Prepaid Internet and Instant TV

The main task the listing describes is refilling prepaid service while away from home. Both Prepaid Internet and Prepaid Instant TV can be topped up through the app.

Refills and payments are handled inside the app, so the account can be kept running without visiting a store.

Checking expiry dates and managing payments

The app shows when each prepaid service expires, so a lapse can be seen coming. Payment management sits alongside this, so the same screen covers both the date and the payment side of the account.

Because expiry dates are visible in the app, a user does not need to track them separately.

Adding channel packs and finding offers

Channel packs can be added to the account from within the app. The listing also says the app carries current offerings and promotions, so new deals can be checked in the same place as the account.

Someone who wants to change their TV channels or look for a current offer does not need a separate browser visit to do either.

Finding a nearby Xfinity retailer

The app includes a lookup for the closest retailer. This is useful for someone who needs a physical location to buy or sort out a prepaid plan, rather than a refill done online.
