What the XPENG app is for
XPENG is the companion app from Xpeng Motors, the electric vehicle maker. It is organised into a few sections: one for exploring the EV range, one for configuring a car and ordering it, one for owners, one for community events, and one for account settings. Prospective buyers and existing XPENG owners both have something to use here.
Someone shopping for an XPENG would mainly use the configurator and the lineup pages. Someone who already owns one would use the owner features and the service tools.
Configuring a model and placing an order
The My XPENG section lets you configure a favourite XPENG model. According to the listing, you can place an order for the configured car directly from the app, so the choice of model and the purchase happen in one place.
Configuring a car here is separate from the owner features, so a person who has not bought yet can use it without any vehicle linked.
Controlling in-car functions and booking owner services
