What Yale View is for

Yale View is a viewing app for a set of compatible Wi-Fi cameras and CCTV kits that the listing presents as smart home equipment. It is for someone who wants to see what a camera sees from a phone or tablet, whether they are in the house or away from it. The compatible list covers indoor, outdoor and front door cameras, pan and tilt models, and 2 and 4 camera kits, including 4MP versions.

The app connects to the camera itself or to a DVR that records from one or more cameras. Its features fall into four groups: watching live video, reviewing recordings, getting alerts, and capturing stills and clips.
