Zapas links your grocery list to your pantry inventory. Each item on the list shows how many you already have at home, so you stop buying a second bottle of ketchup by mistake.

• Get an expiration date reminder 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks before food expires
• Choose the hour your reminders arrive
• Set a low-stock level for staples and get an alert when they run low
• Open the in-app alerts list to see what has expired and what to use first
PANTRY INVENTORY FOR YOUR WHOLE KITCHEN
• Track food in the pantry, fridge, freezer, or any place you set up
• Organize food by place, down to the shelf: Kitchen › Fridge › Top shelf
• Keep a freezer inventory with dates, so you know what to use first
• Record quantity and unit, or simply mark items In stock, Low, or Out
• Add expiration, purchase, and opened dates, plus price, category, a description, and photos
• Sort by expiration date to see what to use first, or browse all items, by category, or by place
• Used one? Tap − right in the list
SCAN BARCODES TO ADD FOOD FASTER
• Scan a product barcode with your camera
• Zapas looks up the barcode in the Open Food Facts database and can fill in the name and a photo (the lookup needs an internet connection)
• Not every product is in the database. You can always add the item by hand
• Scan something you already have to see how many are in stock, or add the new pack as its own item with its own expiration date
WORKS OFFLINE
• Zapas saves everything on your phone first, so your pantry and lists work in a store with no signal
• Start without an account, or sign in with Google
• Create several Homes, each with its own pantry and shopping lists, for example your apartment and a vacation cabin
SYNC AND SHARE
• Sync your Homes between your devices
• Share a Home with family members or roommates by email, and shop from the same lists
BACKUPS AND SETTINGS
• Export a backup file and restore it later
• Back up to your Google Drive account, or turn on daily auto backup on your phone
