Zepto Packman

What Packman is for

Packman is the way in to working as an associate at Zepto, according to the developer. It is aimed at gig workers, students and part-time earners who want to choose when and how much they work. Most of the app comes down to booking shifts, seeing pay and bonuses, and completing onboarding.

Booking shifts, overtime and peak-hour pay

Shifts are offered as 2, 4 or 8 hour slots at stores near you, and the listing says you can take mornings, evenings or weekends. Peak-hour shifts use dynamic pricing, which the developer says can add up to 30% to your earnings. Push notifications flag last-minute overtime and high-demand slots as they open.

The listing says shifts are assigned using demand, your availability and your performance. The slots you receive therefore depend on those three inputs, not only on the times you pick.

Performance tracking, bonuses and tips

The app tracks your efficiency, and bonus payouts are unlocked through that tracking. The developer describes the performance side as gamified. Earnings are described as instant.

Personalized tips are AI-driven nudges meant to help you improve efficiency and earn more, according to the listing.

Onboarding and attendance check-in

Onboarding includes instant document verification, so your paperwork is checked inside the app. Attendance is recorded with facial recognition.

Moving from shifts to a longer job at Zepto

The listing says top performers can move into full-time roles or leadership positions at Zepto. Shift work through Packman is presented as the starting point for that route.
