Zombie apocalypse bunker strategy

Zero City is a strategy game set after zombies and mutants have taken over the world. You command one of the last shelters still standing, a buried bunker in a radioactive wasteland.

The game centres on running that base: deciding how it develops, how its resources are spent and which of your survivors get prepared for fighting. It suits players who would rather manage a settlement than control individual characters in combat.

Building and upgrading the underground base

You add new rooms and upgrade the bunker so it can hold a growing population. The layout is yours to plan, so you choose where rooms go as the shelter expands.

Upgrades are not all equal. You decide which ones matter most for survival, and that choice determines how efficiently the shelter runs.

Assigning citizens and producing resources

Each citizen can be given one of several jobs, and the essential ones keep the bunker supplied. Survivors on those jobs produce the resources the shelter needs to keep going.

You also decide how the resources you produce are used, so every spend competes with other needs such as defenses and fighter training.

Training fighters and defending the shelter

You develop the fighters from among your survivors and pick which people are prepared for combat. Their readiness matters because the shelter faces attacks from zombies and mutants.

Defenses are improved alongside the fighters. Together they determine how well the bunker holds up when the next attack comes.
