ZX File Manager

What ZX File Manager is for

ZX File Manager is a file explorer for the documents, photos and media stored on an Android phone. It is meant for anyone who wants to browse their files, tidy them up and clear space from one app instead of several. The listing presents it as a single tool for file management and storage cleanup.

The main pieces are file management, a junk cleaner, a document viewer and a quick transfer tool. Each is covered below.

Browsing, copying, moving and searching files

You can view your files, then copy, move, organize and search them from the same screen. The listing says these tools cover documents, photos and media alike. Searching is the quickest way to find a file without opening folders one by one.

A separate quick file transfer tool is listed for moving files quickly. The listing does not say which devices or connection methods it uses.

Compressing and extracting archives

The app can compress files to make them smaller and extract them again when you need the originals. The listing applies this to documents, photos and media. Use it to bundle a folder before sharing it or to open a file someone sent you in archive form.

The listing does not name specific archive formats, so check the app's own file type support before relying on a particular one.

Freeing storage with the junk cleaner

A junk cleaner is included and is described as a way to free up storage space. It is the part of the app aimed at people whose phone is running out of room. The listing does not describe what the cleaner looks for or how it decides what to remove.

Reading PDFs, scanning documents and taking notes

A document viewer is built in, with a PDF reader among the things it opens. The listing also mentions scanning documents and keeping notes, so the app covers paperwork as well as photos and media files.

These features sit alongside file management, so a scanned document or note can be stored and organized in the same place as everything else.
