ZX Tape Player turns your Android device into a virtual cassette deck for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, ZX81, and ZX80. Connect the device's audio output to
the computer's EAR socket with a suitable cable or adapter, then load games and other software as if they were playing from cassette. No dedicated tape
interface or computer modification is required.
How it works
ZX Tape Player converts tape-image and program-image files into the audio signal expected by original Sinclair hardware. Select ZX Spectrum, ZX81, or
ZX80 in Settings, then search for a title or open a local file. ZX Spectrum is selected by default.
Enter LOAD "" on a ZX Spectrum or ZX81, or LOAD on a ZX80, then press Play.
