カプセルシェア(Capsule Share)

What Capsule Share is for

Capsule Share is a photo and video sharing app from Devision, listed under Photography on Google Play. Its main use is passing a set of pictures to people you know without asking them to create an account. The developer says you can start using it right after installing, with no member registration or login.

The app works by grouping files under a name you choose, rather than sending each one to a contact. That makes it suited to sharing everything from one event or trip in a single step.

Uploading photos and videos as a named album

To send, you select photos or videos from your phone and give the group an album name. The upload covers all the selected files together. The developer lists LINE as a way to tell friends the album name, so a group chat can carry the name to everyone who needs it.

Anyone who has the album name can then open that album from their own copy of the app.

Receiving an album with its name

To receive, you install the app and type the album name the sender gave you. The developer says every photo and video in the album downloads at once, rather than one file at a time.

The history tab lists the codes you have received and lets you select which photos or videos to keep.

Saving received files to the camera roll

Saving happens in two steps. You choose the items you want from the history tab, then use the save-to-camera-roll option in the app's menu. The selected files are written to your phone's camera roll, and the rest of the album stays in the app.
