The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Play ProtectMeet Gallery, a smart, light and fast photo and video gallery built by Google to help you:

Gallery is Google's photo and video viewer for Android. It is aimed at people who have built up a large library on their phone and want to find a particular picture without scrolling through everything. The developer describes it as a small, light app that is meant to stay out of the way of the rest of the phone.
Most of what it does happens without input. It sorts the library in the background, then gives you a few tools for adjusting the photos you keep.
Each night Gallery sorts the photos and videos on the device into groups called People, Selfies, Nature, Animals, Documents, Videos and Movies. The point is to reach a specific friend's photos or a scanned receipt without searching by hand.
The People and Selfies groups are the ones that depend on recognising faces. Videos and Movies are kept apart from still images, so clips do not get mixed in with the rest of the library.
Auto-enhance is the editing tool the listing puts first. A single tap adjusts a photo automatically, so there are no sliders to set. The listing presents the editing tools as easy to use, and that is the extent of what it says about them.
The rest of the editing set is not described in the listing, so this section covers only auto-enhance.
You can create your own folders and put photos into whichever ones you want, alongside the automatic groups. Photos stored on an SD card can be viewed here as well.
Files can be copied and moved to and from SD cards from inside the app, which matters if a phone's storage is split between internal memory and a card.
The listing says Gallery is built to work offline. Viewing and managing the photos and videos on the device does not need a data connection, according to the developer. That is the basis for the claim that it keeps mobile data use down.
Sorting and browsing run on what is already stored on the phone, so there is nothing for the app to fetch from the network in that case.
The build we hold is Gallery 1.9.4.930218541 release (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.
