A couple settling into a bare home

Adorable Home starts with a couple who have just moved to town and a living space holding a couch, a table and a TV stand. The first purchase is a TV, and after that you decide what goes in next. Your partner has work to do and chores come up around the house, so the day is split between them.

The developer describes the game as passive. You check back every couple of hours to see what has changed, eat some miso soup, collect love and keep furnishing the place.

Earning love and spending it on the house

Love is the currency. You earn it by preparing meals for your partner and feeding Snow, the kitty you start with.

You spend love on furniture, decorations and more cats. New aesthetic rooms can be bought and decorated, and the two of you use them to relax and have special moments together.

Adopting cats and unlocking the Garden

You can adopt multiple cats, and the listing ties the number of cats to the number of adorable moments you get. More cats means more to see and more to photograph.

The Garden is a separate area you unlock. Woodland creatures come to visit there, and you gather love from them.

Taking retro camera photos of the cats

A retro camera lets you capture the cats in snapshots. Each photo goes into your photo album, where you collect them over time.
