What the app is and who it suits

AI Story Generator Novel Maker is an Android app for people who want help getting a story started. The developer aims it at writers who have trouble coming up with a plot or with characters, and at people who want to try their hand at novels. The Play listing shows over 1,000,000 installs and a 4.45 star rating from 19,173 ratings.

Its core is an AI model that produces story ideas and novel text when you ask for them. Most of the work is picking a genre, then letting the generator fill in the rest.

Generating story ideas and plots

The plot generator produces story ideas from the settings you choose. The listing presents it as a way to get past a blank page, and the output is the starting material for a story.

Because each idea is generated on request, you can keep asking for new ones until one fits what you had in mind.

Choosing a genre for the story

The genre list is long: romance, romantic stories, adventure, horror, science fiction, fairy tales, historical fiction, short stories, mystery and more. The listing also names several children's and sleep categories, including baby stories, bedtime Bible stories, sleep stories and bedtime stories.

That range means the same tool covers adult fiction and material meant to be read aloud at bedtime.

Adding your own characters and plot elements

You can create characters and plot elements yourself and build the story around them. This is how the generated text can follow a cast and setup you already have in mind, rather than a random one.

The listing describes this as the way to customise a story, so it is the main control you have over what the generator writes.

Writing novels and short stories with AI

The listing says you can create a full novel with the AI novel generator in a few clicks, and it also covers short stories through a separate short story generator. Both use the same genre choices.

The developer's own description calls the app the best story writing tool available, but nothing here shows how the output compares with other tools, so treat that as the developer's claim.
