What AirDroid Cast TV does and who it suits

AirDroid Cast TV sends the screen of a phone or computer to a television over a wireless connection. The developer lists it under Tools and says it works with nearly all major smart TVs and streaming devices.

It suits people who want to put a phone screen, a slideshow, a document or a video in front of a room without cables. The listing names presentations, video calls and games as uses alongside ordinary mirroring.

Connecting a phone or computer to a TV

There are three routes. The first uses a cast code from the AirDroid Cast app, which the TV side enters to link up. The second uses AirPlay on devices that have it. The third is a desktop browser that opens webcast.airdroid.com, so a computer can cast without installing anything.
