Play ProtectFor all of your Airthings devices

Airthings is the companion app for Airthings indoor air quality monitors and the Renew air purifier. The developer says the devices are meant to support better focus, fewer allergy symptoms and better sleep, and the app is where you read what they measure. It is listed as working with all Airthings products, so it suits anyone who already owns one of them.
Most of the app is about reading the air in your home over time and acting on what it shows. The pollen forecast and recommendations for choosing a monitor are the only parts that look beyond the devices themselves.
Each device appears as a sensor tile. The tiles use color codes and trend lines so you can see the current state of the air without opening anything else. For longer questions, the detailed graphs show readings over time, which is the place to look for patterns such as a room that stays stuffy at certain hours.
Focuses sort the same sensor data by the problems you care about, rather than by raw measurement. You set a focus on your devices, and the app presents the readings that relate to it. The listing describes focuses as high-engagement problems, so the grouping is meant for everyday concerns rather than technical detail.
The listing describes device setup as quick and easy. Once a device is connected, the app is also the way to control a Renew air purifier from anywhere, not only from the room it sits in. That makes it possible to switch the purifier on before you get home.
Remote control is one of the features the listing ties to the Renew model specifically, so it is the part of the app to check if you own a purifier rather than only a monitor.
The app gives a 5-day pollen forecast for your location, with advice on what to do with it. Alongside that, notifications warn you when air quality drops and suggest changes you can make to improve it. Both are aimed at the moments when a reading needs attention, rather than requiring you to check the graphs.
The app also includes tips for common indoor air problems, and advice on getting more out of your device. It can recommend which Airthings monitor fits your needs, which is useful if you are choosing one rather than already owning it.
Air Reports is a paid subscription in the app. Once you subscribe, it sends a monthly update that summarises the sensor data for your location. It is the only feature the listing describes as an ongoing subscription, and it gives a monthly summary rather than live readings.
The build we hold is Airthings 8.1.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 12 and up.
