App Vault

What App Vault is for

App Vault is a panel you reach by swiping on a Xiaomi phone. It puts widgets, app shortcuts and a search tool in one place, so you do not have to open separate apps for each. It suits people who keep checking the same handful of things through the day.

The developer describes the panel as simple and clean, with options for customizing it. The listing presents it as a way to get to the information and services you need quickly.

Checking weather, calendar and news at a glance

The panel carries widgets for weather, calendar and news. Each one shows its information on the panel itself. A quick swipe replaces opening three or four separate programs.

Launching your most used apps

Frequently used apps can be opened straight from the panel with a single tap. The listing presents this as the shortcuts feature, so the panel also works as a launcher for the apps you open most often.

Searching apps, files and messages on the phone

App Finder is a search built into the panel. It looks through local apps, files and messages from one search box. According to the developer, all search processing happens on the device, which it presents as the basis for a private search.

On the listing's account, App Finder works on supported Xiaomi devices only.

Setting up the panel around your own apps

Customization options let you arrange the panel around the widgets and shortcuts you use most. The result is a panel that shows the information you check most often.
