What AutoRap is for

AutoRap is a rap recording app. You record vocals over a beat, or speak into the phone and have your speech converted into rap. The beats come from a large catalog, and the listing names artists including Cardi B, Post Malone, Drake, Eminem and Dr. Dre among the sources.

It suits people who want to try rapping over a beat on a phone and post the results for friends or other users. The listing describes it mainly as a social app, so sharing and community features sit alongside the recording tools.

Recording raps over beats

You pick a beat and record your own vocals over it. The listing says the recordings are high-quality audio that comes out smooth and polished.

The beat library has three sources: beats from named artists, AutoRap's own Originals, and beats uploaded by other rappers and producers in the community. The listing gives the total as over 5000 beats.

Turning spoken words into rap

Without choosing a beat, you can speak into the microphone. The app reshapes your speech into a rap with a beat-matched flow and pitch correction. The listing says this also corrects off-key or weak rapping.

This mode works as a quick way to hear a line delivered as a rap, with no separate recording session needed. The listing does not describe a separate setup for it.

Sharing raps and competing with creators

Finished raps can be shared with friends, and the listing says the app helps users build an audience. It also lists competitions against other creators as part of the experience.

Because the beat library includes community uploads, users can record over tracks made by other people on the platform as well as the built-in and artist beats.
