What BrainPal tracks and who it is for

BrainPal is a reels tracker and scroll counter for short-form video. It is built around one number: how many reels and shorts you have scrolled through. The listing says it covers Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels and Snapchat Reels.

It suits people who want a concrete count of how much short video they have watched, rather than a total of time spent on the phone. The listing makes that distinction directly.

Counting Reels and Shorts across four apps

The counter goes up as you scroll, so the total is current while you are still using the phone. Each reel or short you pass adds to the count, across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat.

Because it counts individual items, a long session shows as a higher number than a short one, even if the time is similar. The listing presents this as the difference between a scroll count and screen time.

The brain graphic that changes with your count

The app shows a brain graphic that changes as the count rises. The developer says it starts healthy, cracks by about reel 100, and is gone by 200. The graphic is the developer's way of showing the count in a visual form.

The listing describes this as a way to see what a long scroll session looks like as it builds.

Scroll battles with friends

Scroll battles let you add friends and compare daily reel counts. Each person's count appears next to the others, and the lower count wins.

The listing does not describe how friends are added or how the daily count resets, so those details are not covered here.
