Brother Mobile Connect

What Brother Mobile Connect is for

Brother Mobile Connect is an Android app from Brother Industries, Ltd. for working with a Brother printer from a phone. It covers three jobs: sending documents and photos to the printer, scanning from the printer back to the phone, and keeping an eye on ink and toner.

It is aimed at people who own a Brother printer and print from a mobile device. The listing describes it as a tool for the printer itself, so the features below depend on having a compatible Brother printer.

Setting up a printer and printing or scanning from a phone

The app walks you through setup for eligible Brother printers in guided steps. After that, you can print from your phone and scan to it.

The listing says Connect Advance lets you print, copy and scan from virtually anywhere, not only from the same room as the printer.

Tracking ink, toner and printer status

The Printer Dashboard shows supply levels, the number of pages printed and the printer's settings. Ink and toner monitoring covers up to five devices and is listed for cartridge-based inkjet printers and laser printers.

The Refresh EZ Print subscription sends Brother Genuine ink and toner automatically before you run out. You manage it from inside the app, and it is a recurring subscription.

Describing print settings to the AI Print Assistant

The AI Print Assistant takes a plain description of the result you want and sets the print options to match. It shows a preview before anything prints, so you can check the layout first.

Savings and warranty for connected printers

The listing ties several benefits to having a connected printer. These include personalized savings on ink and toner and a free 6-month extension to the printer's limited warranty.

Those benefits sit alongside the same printing, dashboard and assistant features, so the app works as one place for the printer and its supplies.
