QRIS + Smart speaker solution for MSMEs. Prevent payment fraud!
By Mei-Lin Chua

BukuPay is a payment app aimed at UMKM, the micro, small and medium businesses in Indonesia. It has two parts: a QRIS code that a shop can accept payments through, and a smart QRIS speaker that calls out when a payment arrives.
The developer's main concern is customers who say they have paid when they have not. The app is built to make a payment visible and audible at the counter, so the shop owner does not have to take a customer's word for it.
The build we hold is BukuPay - QRIS Speaker 2.18.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The app handles QRIS registration, which the developer describes as quick and easy. Once a business has a QRIS code, customers can pay by scanning it with their own banking or e-wallet apps.
The speaker is sold as a smart QRIS speaker and is meant to sit at the point of sale. The listing does not describe its hardware in detail beyond that.
When a payment comes in, the speaker plays a voice confirmation. The developer says the sound is loud and clear enough for staff and customers nearby to hear, which is the point of the design.
The developer also says payment verification happens in real time, so the shop can check whether money has actually come in before handing over goods. This is the feature the developer ties to stopping false "already paid" claims.
All transactions show up in a single dashboard, so a business can follow its incoming payments without switching between screens. The app is also meant to help manage the business's finances more efficiently, according to the developer.
Sales reports are included and described as complete and detailed. The developer also lists a security system and customer support available 24/7, and says there is no burdensome monthly fee.
