What Bulldog Blocker AI Porn Filter does

Bulldog Blocker AI Porn Filter is a porn blocker for Android that uses AI to scan the contents of the screen. Its main claim is that it works across the whole device, not only in a web browser. It is aimed at people who want a filter that follows them into the apps they use every day.

The listing says it covers the browser and apps such as YouTube and Instagram. The scanning is continuous, so content is checked as it appears on screen rather than only when a site is loaded. The listing describes the setup as simple, with the advanced options left for users who want them.

Blocking inside browsers and apps

The core feature is the on-screen AI scanner. It looks at what is displayed, in a browser or inside a third-party app, and blocks porn it detects. Because the check runs on the screen itself, the listing says it does not depend on a list of websites.

Bulldog also has an optional supplemental app blocking feature. The listing presents it as one of the advanced options, so a user can add app-level blocking on top of the screen scanning if they want it.

Blocking swimsuits and immodest clothing

The listing says Bulldog can also block immodest clothing, with swimsuits given as the example. This is a separate option from the porn detection. It extends the filter to images that the developer describes as immodest, not only explicit material.

Users who only want the adult-content filter do not need to use this. The listing does not describe the clothing filter as a required part of the app.

Locking settings with a PIN, delay or friend

Settings can be locked with a PIN, with a delay before changes take effect, or with a more involved setup in which a friend receives the PIN. The listing presents the friend option as added accountability, so the user cannot unlock the filter alone.

These locks are what make the filter hard to switch off in a moment of weakness. A user can choose one of the three, or combine them, depending on how much friction they want.

Where scanning happens and what the developer says about data

The developer states that user data never leaves the device. The AI scanning is described as running on the phone, not on a remote server. The listing presents this as a privacy point, and it is the developer's own statement.

Because the scanning happens on the device, the listing says the app is private as well as effective. Readers who care about where their screen contents go should weigh that claim against the developer's own description.
