What kind of game Bullet Heroes is
Bullet Heroes: TD RPG Shooter is an idle tower defense game with roguelike progression. You load a squad of gun heroes and the defense largely runs itself, so most of your attention goes to choosing the squad and upgrading between runs.
The developer lists it as free, with no pay-to-win mechanics. It suits players who like strategy games built around repeated runs, with a loose idle pace and a lot of upgrade decisions.
Building a squad of gun heroes
The roster includes rapid-fire officers, missile launchers and laser beam specialists, with more heroes unlocking as you progress. Each one has its own weapon and skill set.
The developer says squad synergy matters: pairing the right heroes produces coordinated attacks. Heroes slice through streams of enemy bullets as they fire, which is the game's signature mechanic.
Upgrading skills, firepower and ammo
Progression rests on three tracks. Skills unlock RPG abilities and combos. Firepower covers the auto-fire turrets you deploy and upgrade. Ammo raises your bullet supply and how much damage your bullet cutting can absorb.
Each roguelike run is meant to end differently, since the upgrade choices and enemy waves vary. Neglecting one of the three tracks is described as a fast way to lose a run.
Zones, boss rush stages and Survival mode
The game is split into Apocalypse levels against robots and zombies, Space levels against alien invaders in outer-space arenas, and Monster Realms against bizarre creatures. The developer says more worlds are coming.
Giant bosses appear in boss rush stages that get harder with each level. Survival mode opens after you reach a set milestone level. It asks how long you can hold out against endless waves, and the developer says longer survival brings bigger rewards.
Playing offline without a connection
The listing says the whole game can be played offline, with no connection required. That makes it usable on the go, since runs and progression do not depend on being online.
The developer describes the bullet cutting as its distinctive feature, and presents the idle loop, RPG depth and roguelike runs as the other main draws.
