What Calendar Alarm does with your event reminders
Calendar Alarm works on the reminders your phone's calendar already sends. Instead of a short beep, the alert rings like an incoming call and stays on until the time you have set for it. It is aimed at people who keep missing events because the default reminder is too quiet or too brief to notice.
The app is a reminder enhancer rather than a separate calendar. You keep using the calendar you already have, and Calendar Alarm changes how its alerts sound and behave.
Ringing alerts and choosing a melody
Each alert rings like a phone call, which is harder to sleep through or dismiss without noticing. The developer says you can keep it ringing for as long as you want.
You can pick the melody that plays for these alerts. This lets you tell calendar alarms apart from calls or other notifications.
Automatic setup for all calendar events
No configuration is needed beyond installing the app. Once installed, it takes over the existing reminders for all of your calendar events, so there is no per-event or per-calendar setup to do.
The listing presents this as the main point of the app: the calendar you already use keeps working as before, with louder alerts layered on top.
Energy saving mode and the FAQ
The developer states that most problems with the app come from energy saving mode, which can stop alerts from ringing when expected. The listing directs users to the app's FAQ before contacting the developer.
If alerts do not ring as expected, the FAQ is the first place the developer points to for troubleshooting.
