Finding new and used cars near you

CARFAX - New & Used Cars lists new, used and certified pre-owned vehicles for sale near you. Filtered searches and sorting help narrow a long list down to the cars that match what you want. Each listing shows photos, the top features, mileage and similar details, and you can compare listings against each other.

Checking a used car's history and value

The listing says every used car listing includes a CARFAX Vehicle History Report at no charge. The developer puts the report's data at more than 151,000 sources and over 35 billion records, and says it covers the key details a buyer would want to know before purchase. The app also explains how CARFAX calculates a car's value from its history, so you can see the reasoning behind the figure.

Tracking saved cars and price drops

You can save cars to a favorites list. The app sends alerts when a saved car's price falls. Each listing also has a price history, showing how the asking price has changed over time, and you can check whether a car you are interested in is still available without leaving the app.

Reading dealer reviews from customers

The app includes reviews of dealerships, which the listing says come from actual customers. They sit alongside the car listing and its history, so you can judge the seller as well as the vehicle.
