Census 2027-PE Training is an official training app from the Office of the Registrar General, India. It was built for the Population Enumeration phase of the Census of India 2027. The intended users are officials who will take part in Population Enumeration field work.
The app gives them a training environment to work in before they go out to the field. It is described as both secure and realistic.
The app lets users go through the census workflow in advance. Trainees can see how the work is organised from start to finish before doing it for real.
Because this happens before actual field operations, the practice is meant to take place away from live census work.
