What Clove is and who it is for

Clove is a phone app from TRUST HUB, K.K. It combines two things: mystery boxes of trading cards and a store that sells cards. The developer describes it as a trading card shop with mystery boxes.

It suits people who collect trading cards and want to open packs or buy cards from their phone. It covers four card games, so a collector of any one of them can find that game's cards in the same app.

Opening mystery boxes on your phone

Mystery boxes are opened inside the app, and the listing says the purpose is to collect rare cards from your phone. The developer says boxes can be opened at any time and anywhere.

Each box is a draw, so the cards you get are not chosen by you. The listing presents the boxes as the way to pick up rare cards, not as a catalogue to browse.

Buying Pokémon and One Piece cards in the Clove Store

The Clove Store is where the app sells cards. The store description names Pokémon and One Piece cards specifically, and the developer says buyers can find these at the best deals the store offers.

The store and the mystery boxes sit in the same app, so a person can move between opening a box and looking for a specific card.

Card games covered: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, One Piece and Dragon Ball Super

The app lists four trading card games: Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game, Pokémon Trading Card Game, ONE PIECE Card Game and Dragon Ball Super Card Game. These four form the lineup that the boxes and the store draw from.

The store description names Pokémon and One Piece in particular. The other two games appear in the lineup.
