What the app does with first-responder radio
CrimeRadar: Dispatch Alerts monitors live first-responder radio and uses AI to summarize and map the incidents it hears. The listing aims it at people who want to keep track of public-safety activity near where they live or spend time.
The incidents it names include wildfires, highway accidents and police callouts. Each one is turned into a short summary and placed on a map, so the raw radio traffic is easier to follow without listening to all of it.
Getting alerts and setting which types you see
Notifications are triggered by the live dispatch audio, so an alert reflects a call as it comes over the radio. You decide which kinds of activity count through the app's filters.
The same filters apply to the map, the alerts and the incident logs. Changing the activity types in one place changes what you see everywhere, so the alerts and the map stay consistent with each other.
Browsing recent incidents on the safety map
The safety map shows recent dispatch activity around you. Each point on the map is linked to the original audio from that call, so you can check where a summary came from.
Tapping an event opens the original first-responder communications for it. You hear the dispatch itself rather than only the app's summary of it.
Incident logs and checking summaries against the audio
Incident logs collect the events the app has picked up, and the same activity-type filters narrow them down. This makes it possible to scan back through a period of calls by category.
Because every summary is tied to its source recording, a reader can compare what the AI wrote with the words actually spoken on the radio.
