CSR Classics

What CSR Classics is and who it suits

CSR Classics is a drag racing game published by NaturalMotion Games, which the listing names as the makers of CSR Racing. Its focus is classic cars from roughly the last 60 years, raced on drag strips and in street-style contests. It suits people who like classic American and European cars and short, head-to-head races.

The game is free to play but sells items for real money. The listing says a PIN can be set through the Google Play settings menu and switched on for purchases, so that a PIN is required before every transaction.

Racing a collection of over 50 classic cars

The car roster has more than 50 models, including the Shelby Mustang GT500, Ford GT40 and Plymouth Superbird. The listing also names cars from BMW, Chevrolet, Dodge, Mercedes, Pontiac and Shelby, among others. Each car is raced on drag strips against other drivers.

Restoring cars and head-to-head matchups

Cars begin as rusty, unloved shells and can be restored into finished classics. The listing describes this restoration as the way a car is transformed for racing, and it does not say which parts or steps are involved.

The listing also advertises matchups between two cars, such as the Cobra against the Mercedes 300SL, the Dodge Superbee against the Chevrolet Camaro, and the Ford Mustang against the Skyline GT-R.

Street races against city gangs

A separate part of the game has the player take on gangs that control the city. The listing says these races are against the toughest drivers in the city, and it describes the goal as owning the streets.
