This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Want to quickly open all formats of files on your phone with just ONE app anytime, anywhere?

Editor, tools and utilities
Document Reader - PDF Editor is a file viewer with some light editing tools, aimed at the document types people most often receive on a phone: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and plain text. On first use it searches the phone's storage for these files and sorts them into folders by type, so they can be found without digging through the file system.
The listing positions it for anyone who wants to open any office document from one app rather than installing a separate viewer for each format. Its main strengths, as described, are reading and marking up documents and handling common PDF jobs.
The build we hold is Document Reader - PDF Editor 1.3.3 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

Files appear in a folder view grouped by type, and also in one combined list, so you can browse by category or scroll everything at once. Favorites keep chosen files at hand for quick opening, and search works both inside the app and across the phone.
Files can be sorted by name, size, last modified or last visited. You can rename, delete and share files from the same list.
PDFs open from the app's PDF folder or directly from other apps. While reading you can zoom in or out and jump straight to a chosen page number. A single tap shares the file.
The PDF editor changes text and its formatting, and lets you add new text with a chosen font size, colour, layout and position. You can also add an e-signature, highlight, underline or strike through text, and draw doodles on the page.
Images in JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP and WEBP format convert into PDFs, and a scan-to-PDF option works the same way. Going the other way, PDF pages export as JPG or PNG images and save straight to the phone's photo album. Word and PowerPoint files convert to PDF, and Word converts back from PDF. Converted files can be shared with one tap.
For existing PDFs, the listed tools merge several files into one, split a file, compress it to a smaller size, insert blank pages or images, and create new PDFs. The listing also describes the lightweight, no internet required design as part of the same toolset.
Word files in DOC and DOCX format appear in their own list and open in a reading view the listing calls simple. Excel spreadsheets in XLS and XLSX format and PowerPoint decks in PPT and PPTX format each have a dedicated viewer. Plain TXT files open in a reader too. A dark mode is available across the app, and the listing says the viewers work without an internet connection.
The listing also names planned additions, not yet available: support for RAR, MOBI, HTML, ODT, XML, DOT and ZIP files, a file editor, creating new documents, text search across all documents, and doodling on Word and other documents.
