What the app is for
The e-amusementアプリ is KONAMI's official app for its arcade games. It connects a phone to the play records kept for SOUND VOLTEX, jubeat and beatmania IIDX, and to the PASELI electronic money used at KONAMI machines.
It suits people who play those cabinets regularly and want their results, rival news and card balance in one app. Its features are grouped below by what you would do with them.
Checking scores and rival challenges
The score tools show your play data for SOUND VOLTEX and for jubeat. The listing describes these as the app's main arcade-linked functions, alongside play sharing.
For beatmania IIDX, the app sends notifications when a rival player issues a challenge. This lets you respond to challenges without checking the machine or a separate page first.
Checking and topping up PASELI balance
PASELI is KONAMI's electronic money for its arcade machines. The app lets you check the balance on your PASELI and add funds to it.
Because the balance and top-up both sit in the app, you can see how much you have before you go to a cabinet.
Sharing play photos and posts with players
The play share feature lets you share images of your plays. You can also post about the games you like and talk with other players.
Photo frames and medals can be collected and displayed on your profile to show other users. The listing presents these as a way to show off your progress to your game friends.
Finding events, tournaments and mahjong news
The app lists event and campaign information for arcade games, so you can follow what is coming up. It also shows tournament details from stores across Japan and from tournaments run by players.
Posts from professional mahjong players of the Japan Pro Mahjong League appear in the app, along with information on entries to Mahjong Fight Club, a mahjong game KONAMI offers.
