E-meterai Scanner is a PERURI app for reading the QR code printed on an e-meterai. It is aimed at anyone who holds an e-meterai and wants to see what the code contains without other tools.
The developer describes two uses: a quick read of the information hidden inside the code, and a fuller reading that goes into more detail. Both start from the same camera scan.
You point the phone camera at the e-meterai's QR code and hold it until the code is in focus. The app then reads and recognizes the contents on its own, with no separate capture step described in the listing.
Once recognized, the app outputs the details taken from that particular QR code. The listing presents this as the main use of the app.
The listing says the app pulls out the information concealed in an e-meterai QR code and presents it quickly. It also says the app lets you read more detail from the same code than the first view gives.
