EDP Charge

What EDP Charge is for

EDP Charge is an app from EDP Comercial for charging an electric vehicle where you park during the day or overnight. The charging points it works with are in a condominium garage or at a workplace. Residents of a condominium and employees with a charging point at work are the people the app is built for.

The app covers the whole charging routine in one place: getting access to the equipment, starting the session, paying for the energy and checking consumption.

Starting a charge and controlling access

The app controls access to the charging equipment, so you reach a point through your phone rather than another method. From the same app you start your EV charging session.

Paying for electricity through the condominium

The energy you use while charging is paid automatically and settled with your condominium. The developer presents this as a simple way to pay for your energy consumption, without a separate payment step for each charge.

Monitoring energy use

You can monitor your consumption through the app. Your charging use is tracked there, so you can follow how much energy your EV has taken from the point.
