A phone app for running an existing Etsy shop

Etsy Seller is built for people who already sell on Etsy and want to handle the shop from a phone. The developer lists it as a way to answer customers, change listings, read shop numbers and work through orders away from a computer.

You need an Etsy shop to use it. The app does not create one, so new sellers would set up their shop at etsy.com/sell first.

Replying to buyers and spotting repeat customers

Messages is the main place for buyer contact. From a conversation you can open the order details for that buyer without leaving the thread, which saves switching screens to find what they bought.

The developer says repeat buyers get a special tag in Messages. A seller can see at a glance who has ordered before.

Creating and editing listings from your phone

You can create new listings and change existing ones in the app. Photos and videos can be added to a listing or replaced directly from the phone, so product shots taken on the device can go straight into the shop.

Listing edits are the same kind of changes you would make on Etsy's website, handled from the same account.

Tracking orders and what needs shipping

The order view is organised around shipping. It shows which orders are waiting to go out and the date each one should ship, so the day's dispatch list is visible in one place.

Order details are also reachable from buyer messages, so a question about delivery can be answered next to the order it concerns.

Shop stats and sending feedback to Etsy

A listing overview shows views, sales and revenue for each listing. This lets a seller compare how individual products are doing without opening a separate report.

The app also has a way to send feedback to Etsy about what needs improving. The developer says new features are added over time, though the listing does not name them.
