What the app is for and who it suits
Fitonomy Mobility & Stretching is a stretching app that starts with a measurement rather than a fixed sequence. It tests your range of motion first and plans the stretching from those results.
It suits someone who wants a short daily stretch matched to where they are actually tight, not a generic series of poses. The test and the daily session are designed to be used together.
Measuring flexibility with the mobility test
The test is ten guided movements, done once, and the listing puts it at about five minutes. The movements cover hips, shoulders, ankles, spine, hamstrings and neck.
For positions that need an angle, you rest the phone against your leg and the app reads the tilt in degrees. At the end you get a flexibility score for each joint, which shows which areas are tight before you stretch anything.
Building a daily stretching session
The daily session runs nine minutes and is built from your test results and the time you have available. It needs only floor space and no equipment or gym.
If you flag a sore hip or a stiff lower back, the session shortens the holds and drops the hardest positions automatically. The listing describes this as part of each day's plan, so the same session can change with how an area feels.
How the test results shape each day
The joint scores from the test are the basis for the daily session, so the routine follows the areas the test found tight. Flagging a body area is the only input described for adjusting a session on a given day.
Because the session is generated from the results and the time you set, a short window still produces a complete nine-minute routine rather than a cut-down version of a fixed one.
