Força Aérea Brasileira

What the Brazilian Air Force app is for

Força Aérea Brasileira is the official app of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). It gathers the Force's news, photos, videos and social media links, and it is aimed at two groups: the general public following the FAB, and internal staff such as service members and civilian employees.

The developer describes it as a single place to follow the Air Force and to reach a few staff-only tools. Most of what it offers is public reading and listening, with a separate section for internal use.

Following FAB news, photos and videos

The news section carries official updates from the Force. Photo and video content sits alongside it, and the app links out to the FAB's social media accounts for more frequent posts.

Anyone interested in Air Force activity can use this part to check recent announcements and browse media without visiting several websites.

Aircraft details and joining the Air Force

The app holds information on the Force's aircraft and on the units of the Comando da Aeronáutica, which is the air command that runs the FAB.

It also explains the ways to enter the Air Force, so a prospective recruit can find out how to apply from the same app they use to follow the news.

Radio, magazine and aviation news

The app lets you listen to Rádio Força Aérea, the Force's own radio station, without leaving the app.

Printed and digital publications are covered too: the Aerovisão magazine and the NOTAER periodical. Aviation news from the NOTIMP feed is also available for reading inside the app.

Together these give a reader Air Force material in audio, magazine form and short news items.

Payslips and the military portal for staff

For the internal audience, the app lets you view your contracheque, the payslip, and open the military portal from inside the app.

These tools are described for FAB personnel only, so they sit apart from the public news and reading features.
