GrabMerchant is the phone app for businesses that sell through Grab. It is aimed at restaurants, food sellers and grocery shops that take orders for GrabFood or GrabMart delivery, and at merchants who accept GrabPay.
You cannot start with the app alone. The listing says you first sign up your business with Grab's sales team, through separate GrabFood/GrabMart and GrabPay sign-up pages, and then download GrabMerchant to run the account day to day.
The build we hold is GrabMerchant 4.196.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 6.0 and up.

The app shows the orders coming into your restaurant or store and lets you follow each one until it is fulfilled. Everything runs from the phone, so you do not need a separate order screen at the counter.
GrabFood is used for meal delivery at any time of day, not only at set mealtimes. GrabMart is for grocery orders that go straight to customers' homes, which lets a shop reach people beyond its walk-in trade.
Merchants can place outgoing VoIP calls to delivery partners or to customers to confirm time-sensitive booking details and replacement items. Calls go through the app, not the phone's regular dialler.
The app also receives calls from Grab's automated system that deliver urgent, real-time order updates. The listing says these alerts are meant to still arrive when the phone is locked, the screen is off, or the app is in the background.
You can create, upload and edit your menu or product catalogue from the app, so the listings customers see match what you sell.
The listing lets you offer discounts to turn first-time buyers into regular ones, and advertise within the app to get more orders. Both are controlled from your merchant account.
Cashless payments through GrabPay let customers pay faster. The app lets you track where your money comes in and goes out. Sales and store performance data show which items and periods are selling, so you can decide where to spend your effort.
GrabAcademy provides lessons on improving restaurant or shop performance. You can also create separate profiles for members of your team, so staff have their own access to the account rather than sharing one login.
