Idle Boxer is an idle role-playing game set in the boxing ring. You start with an underdog fighter and build them up over time, so the main activity is tapping to train and watching the numbers climb rather than controlling punches in real time.
The developer, Tap Nine, lists it under role-playing. It suits players who like steady progression, upgrade loops and checking back in on a character between sessions.
Each tap trains the boxer, and the listing says the fighter gets stronger with every fight. Progress comes from the training you do and the fights you win, not from a single purchase or one-time setup.
Cash from fights and idle earnings pays for upgrades to the boxer's stats. The listing presents this as the core loop: earn, spend on upgrades, then fight again at a higher level.
Gear is split into gloves, boots and accessories. Each piece raises the fighter's stats, and the listing ties the damage a boxer deals directly to how strong the equipment is.
Separately, you unlock boxing skills and combos. The developer describes timing your upgrades to build a plan for each opponent, so the choice of which skill to invest in matters as much as raw stat growth.
As you gain fame and charm while climbing the ranks, you unlock girlfriend characters. The listing says each one supports the boxer's journey and gives a bonus to the fighter.
These unlocks are part of the progression system, so they tie into the same climb that drives gear and skill upgrades.
The game keeps producing rewards while the app is closed. When you return, you collect the cash that built up, spend it on upgrades and go back to fighting.
Fights are against rivals and tougher opponents, arranged in leagues. Winning them moves the boxer up the ranks toward the title of champion.
